  20. Sound Fix for SoundBlaster 16 bit audio cards
  21. Contact Creative Labs and ask for the SB16UP.EXE updated driver.

  25. ATI Video Cards
  26. You will get a General Protection Fault (GPF) error. To fix this, please
  27. contact ATI tech support at (905) 882 - 2600 and ask for the proper settings
  28. for your video card model to enable play back of the QuickTime for Windows
  29. movie file format.

  31. IBM Aptiva and PS1
  32. 1. Control - F1 during boot up - This will launch configuation utility.
  33. 2. Go to third page.
  34. 3. Disable APM Bios.
  35.  
  36. Note: The APM Bios will conflict with this Digital Playground product
  37.       if left enabled.

  39. TRIDENT Video Cards
  40.  The latest driver versions for the 9400CXi, 9200CXr, 8900C, 8900CL,
  41. 8900D, 9000i and 9000C Trident Chipsets all work with this Digital
  42. Playground product.

  57. Problem: distorted and broken video display
  58. Solution: Packard Bell technicians strongly recommend at least 1 meg
  59. of video memory in addition to an SVGA moniter for this Digital
  60. Playground product to function properly.

  63. Prior to installing this disc, you should confirm that your system meets
  64. the following requirements:

  66. 1. Minimum Hardware Requirements:

  68. _    A personal computer with an 486 or faster CPU.
  69. _    A CPU speed of 100 MHz or higher.
  70. _    16 megabytes of conventional and extended memory. (may work on some
  71.           systems with only 4MB of RAM)
  72. _    A CD-ROM drive supported by Microsoft Windows (access time less
  73.           than 350ms, and sustained transfer rate of at least 150K/second)
  74. _    A hard disk with at least 4 megabytes free for the basic QuickTime
  75.           for Windows software.
  76. _    Mouse (or other pointing device) supported by Microsoft Windows.
  77. _    A ".WAV" compatible sound card supported by Microsoft Windows.
  78. _    Additional free disk space if you want to keep movies and pictures
  79.           on your hard disk.

  82. VIDEO PROBLEMS:

  84. Some high-resolution video cards require updated driver software for 
  85. operation of QuickTime for Windows.  If you experience color display
  86. problems, Please contact your video board manufacturer to see if newer
  87. driver software is available.

  89. If the video display is slow, you may not have enough memory.  You can
  90. also try adjusting the colors to 64K colors rather than truecolor
  91. (16.7 million).  This results in faster video display and doesn't
  92. affect picture quality.
